Sangiovese Mulled Wine Recipe with Ledger David Sangiovese

1 bottle (750ml) Ledger David Sangiovese
1 whole cinnamon stick
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 whole nutmeg
¼-1/2 c. sugar (add to taste)
Zest ½ small orange

Combine ingredients and simmer on low in small crockpot for two hours.  Strain carefully.  Ladle into mug, and garnish with candy cane.
